I much rather use filters than bracketing. As much as can be done in camera
the better :)

Instead of carrying around filters… couldn’t you just take two exposures,
stack them in Photoshop, mask out one of the exposures (sky) and then just
do a gradient overlay on the mask? This to me takes too long unless you
have that kinda time to kill.

Are they soft or hard grads? I had both but sold the hard one and only use
the soft one, but wondering now if I made the wrong decision.

Or you can just buy a proper filter. I understand you want to show how easy
it is and how it actually works but my opinion is that you are setting out
a wrong example.

This is a big help. It will save a lot of fiddling in lightroom or
photoshop.

Whoa! Watch the man on the sidewalk disappear at 6:42 of the video. I did
not know ND filters also make people disappear haha.

I think grad filters have their place. It’s true you can get a better
effect with bracketing, but if you are pressed for time at least there is
some alternative out there. If you just have 1 saturated area in a photo
the customer won’t be able to tell the difference really.
